The report is derived from the statistics given in the tabular chart which compares rail transport used by three different categories in four countries in 2007.
Overall, the rail transport used by the people is more information China but the cargoes carried is more in Canada.
Turning to the details, Chinese people use more rail transport which is 27% and kilometres travelled per head of population is 1980. The cargo carried rail transportation was seen in Canada the most which was 28.20 percent. The number of people using rail transport in Canada was less than all other countries which was 0.3% and passenger kilometres per head of population was 80. The people using rail transport in Malaysia and UAE are nearly same. It is observed that 5.9% of people travel by rail transport in Malaysia and covers 770 km per head of population. While in UAE, 5.5% of people are using rail transport and they travel upto 780 km. At last, the cargo carried by these countries: Malaysia and UAE was respectively 22.2 and 21.9 billion of tons.
