On one hand, internet enable individuals to make friends and build lasting relationships with people from different part of the world. Thanks to advanced technology, it is widely common for everyone to possess a smartphone or modern application, people nowadays have consistent access to internet, facilitating global interactions. Humans have numerous shared sites, namely facebook, Instagram, webchat and more, which contributes to greater understanding among individuals. Additionally, it offers tremendous convenience for its users especially those living in the remoted areas. As they do not have to travel far away to make transactions related to commercials. In addition, internet provides a myriad of employment prospects, people can stay at home and become staff of multi-international companies.
Despite the advantages mentioned-above, interaction in virtual world also presents several possible drawbacks. First of all, immersing into online activities, individuals gradually forget the existence of face-to-face communication. They possess a preference for online applications as a means of socialization, work and purchase and more worryingly, people in 21st century may perceive no substantial incentive to involve social activity in reality. Furthermore, online interactions have a link to mental problems , there are numerous research has claimed that addicting to internet increases the risk of suffering from social isolation and human well-being. Therefore, it is extremely crucial for everyone to strike a balance between online and in-person communication.
In conclusion, while internet brings tremendous benefits for people’s today society, it still hides potential drawbacks. Having an equilibrium between online and real interaction is important
