Most people suppose that prosperity in life is a deal of fortune rather than capability. From my standpoint, abilities play a key role in success because of reliability and long-term stability, thus I cannot go along with this approach.
Abilities, such as skills or knowledge, will inevitably lead to improvement through effort and application, while luck is fleeting and often not enough to overcome obstacles. This is because of predictable result of skills or sustainable progress, which was already achieved by other people. For instance, bakery “Happy Cake” has reached its’ best in capital of Kazakhstan as chief there has had a great ability to bake, and although their shop was successful, the story is simple due to its’ foreseeable success through the whole period of their existence.
Despite its’ dependability, knowledge and skills are known to be long-term benefits as experience can be built and networking with other professionals can be done. Qualities of increased expertise are essential for any field, and it can lead to confidence, competitiveness and be better prepared for the future challenges. Take Albert Einstein as an example, one of the greatest physicists in the world, who obtained his fame through constant researches, studying laws of physics and communication with other scientists, and invented a theory of relativity with his colleagues, which took decades to interpret.
Although luck can occasionally lead to success, ability is more controllable and consistent way to reach the top as it builds reliable and predictable path, and enables to develop the skills or expand horizons.
