Although public parks are cherished by many individuals, there is a suggestion to repurpose these spaces for alternative uses such as residential areas to accommodate the expanding population or for the development of businesses to stimulate economic growth. I am inclined to partially agree with this proposition. While the preservation of public parks is crucial for the well-being of nature and the public, it is also plausible to consider utilizing these areas for other purposes.

In the contemporary urban landscape, public parks serve as essential havens that contribute to the upkeep of public health by safeguarding against pollution and offering recreational spaces. Meanwhile, the proliferation of factories and industries has resulted in environmental degradation, leading to air pollution that poses health risks to both humans and ecosystems. Therefore, maintaining natural parks is imperative as they serve as crucial sources of purification through their abundant foliage and greenery. Furthermore, public parks also cater to the recreational needs of nature enthusiasts and provide idyllic settings for camping, offering a much-needed escape from the urban environment.

Conversely, the recent surge in global population demands the establishment of additional residential areas and the advancement of industries to generate employment opportunities. With the continual growth of the worldwide population, there is an escalating need for new residential spaces and job prospects. Consequently, some proponents argue that the necessity for accommodation and economic development supersedes the primary importance of public parks.

In conclusion, both perspectives have their merits. On one hand, the preservation of public parks is vital for ensuring access to fresh air, a fundamental aspect of human existence. On the other hand, the increasing need for residential and industrial spaces in the foreseeable future cannot be disregarded. Therefore, it is my contention that while maintaining public parks, urban expansion should be directed towards rural areas, ensuring the provision of essential amenities for sustainable living.
