Overall,margarine was well known among Americans in the beginning of the given period despite this it experienced a constante decline. While the
usage of the butter was less popular rather than margarine in the begenning, nevertheless it became a front runner by 2020.
In 1980, the consumption of the margarine was in its peak around 10.5 Ibs, however it saw a dramatical decline and reached just 2 Ibs by 2020.
While the use up of the butter was half ibs of the margarine which was approximately 5 Ibs, and experienced a swell and reached 6 by the end of the given period.
