While some believe that the primary purpose of learning is preparing for the job market, and creating skilled professional individuals, others think that its aim is to promote personal fulfillment. I believe that preparing for the professional workforce is the main goal. This essay will discuss both perspectives and the reasons behind my position.
Advocates of the approach that acquiring job skills is the main point of education argue that this issue is more significant. This claim has been reinforced by recent studies conducted by prestigious universities. These studies have indicated that, with increasing competition for jobs, having specialized skills is a major necessity for finding a suitable job position in the future, especially in modern societies.
On the other hand, another group says that achieving self-actualization is the main intention of schooling. This can be supported by providing an example to demonstrate the issue. It has been seen that in some societies where the number of educated people is higher, people’s creativity has also improved in various aspects. Therefore, education enables individuals to explore their potential and develop their unique abilities.
To conclude, considering the importance of education in finding the right job in the future, I firmly believe that prioritizing job opportunities is a more considerable purpose than self-fulfillment.
