Across the globe,a plethora of public places banned smoking due to their health regulations.People argue that mobile phone use should be added to those regulations, therefore,be banned in public places. It is partially agreed that the use of mobile phones is need to be limited in some places, however, not banned.
Firstly, the limitations on smartphone usage in some public places are needed, for example, cinema sessions, music festivals, examination halls require the crowd to be silent. Thus, having to conduct big crowded events,I would undoubtedly suggest that phone usage should be limited to help people focus or enjoy their time at some public events. Some people disturb others by playing loud music on their smartphones, filming everyone at some events and scrolling through social media at cinema sessions which makes it harder to enjoy the movie for people who sit behind them. Thus, some limitations of phone usage should be considered in order for people to spend quality time at public events.
On the contrary ,there are situations in which having your phone nearby is a necessity, especially if you have children to take care of and you do not take them with yourself, thus, when a person is not around them- having a mobile device help them to be in touch with their family.Nowadays people with ADHD struggle with the limitations on mobile phone usage, because they can’t keep themselves focused on one thing and need their phones to cope with that.
Lastly, mobile phone usage limitations can improve presence in social situations, however, in some occasions it’s a need and those regulations should be considered and taken into account.
