In the modern world, society is developing rapidly, and many people living in large cities are struggling to adapt to new technologies and urban lifestyles. A significant number of urban residents do not even know their neighbors, leading to a sense of social isolation. This essay will discuss problems, and propose some practical solutions to address the issue.
One major problem is security and face-to-face communication problem with their life. In the past, technology did not develop as quickly as it does today. People had to communicate with their neighbors, because humans always need to talk someone. For example, there were no phones in the past, everyone was going to talk their neighbors, while these people knew each other better, also they went their neighbor’s house to watch film together. As a result, this communication helped them feel safe when they needed help, and it increased their sense of self-confidence in communicating with someone.
An effective solution to this problem is to communicate less on phones and talk to each other. For example, people are different in communication with phones, because they hide their feelings but if they talk face-to-face, then they can see their real thought. There are many opportunities doing some activities such as to do barbecue, to play football, and to watch film which are these develop authentic communication skills better than digital interaction. These help your self-confidence, and will decrease your lack of social skill issue.
In conclusion, although the lack of communication between neighbors in big cities leads to problems like social isolation and decreased security, these can be effectively solved by encouraging face-to-face interaction and community activities. I believe that building real-life connections is far more valuable for a healthy society than relying on digital communication.
