The diagram illustrate the expenditure on petrol and its proportion according to monthly income among differet european countries.
The percentage of expenditure on petrol ranges from 7.40% in Norway to the highest of 61.10 in Eritrea. Most of the countries have average monthly expense on petrol less than 30%. Only two countries spend more and these include Turkey with 34.20% and Eritrea spending more than 60% on petrol monthly.
The overall expense on the fuel however is quite consistent across the countries that ranges between 270 to 320 euros per month. The discripency in the percentage of fuel expenditure can be owed to the drastic difference in the salaries in various nationalities.
People in Eritrea only make around 450 euros per month on average that explain the significant higher percentage of spending on fuel. While people in Norway earn the most in salaries and therfore spend the least in percentage on petrol.
The table demostrate the inflation across countries while the cost of running the vehicle is somewhat similar.
