The information provided in the pie charts shows the types of cookig oils used in the United Stated in the year 2005 and 2020. Different types of oils were compared in this study including, Olive oil,canola oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, soyabean oil, and peanut oil.
In the year 2020, olive oil and canola oil were used at equal levels being at 30%. While in the year 2005, olive oil was used the maximum, which was at 35%, and canola oil was in the second range being at 25%.
Sunflower oil is being used the same in th year 2005 and 2020, being at 15%. The use of coconut oil increased by the year 2020 with a jump of 10%. The use of soyabean oil and peanut oil reduced to half in the year 2020 as compared to 2005. In the year 2005, it was at 10% and in the year 2020 it was at 5%.
According to the information provided, olive oil and canola oil stays as the most used oils in the United States in the 2005 and 2020.
