In this fast-paced era, some individuals believes that old monuments like town halls, art galleries must be renovated by policymakers while, others oppose that statement and believes that those are replaced by modern sky scrapers due to modernization. I will not only discuss both views but also I strongly provide my opinion why I am support the first notion in the forthcoming paragraphs before reaching to the logical conclusion.
To embark with, due to urbanization governments take strict action against the local buildings like library, art gallerias, townhall and many more. However, I firmly believes that those monuments not replaced by new building and should be restored. There are ample of reasons why we renovate those. First and foremost one reason is that people who love and passionate about our culture they can learn more about old art they can explore those place. This way we can not only save our monuments but also save our art, culture and many such thing which can very fruitful for our country.
On the flip side, if we replaced the old buildings with the the gigantic and modern once. As a consequences, we destroy our heritage site which is detrimentally affect our culture. For instance, in my city government destroy one of the stepwell which was constructed in the 17th century, and construct new supermarket on it. which is not acceptable because we not only destroy the stepwell , we demolish our art, culture and the rare materials. A recent survey from TOI, more than 50% of heritage places demolish by policymakers all around the nation and constructed new high rise buildings on it.
To conclusion, I strongly believes that to save our arts and culture we must be renovate heritage site which is directly or indirectly not only beneficial for the governments but also it is helpful for every people.
