Climate change is one of the principal dangers facing humanity in this century, and ocean levels are increasing dramatically. This essay will first suggest that pressing problems caused by this phenomenon include rising pollution, sea levels, and flooding of homes. and then will argue that reducing pollution and building flood protection are visible solutions.
The foremost cause of the problem is the rising sea level and the loss of land; people residences are often flooded. As if the water level rises a few more feet, then the low-lying land will be submerged and many countries become smaller. Furthermore many people are living in a coastal areas and if the sea levels rises they will be inundated in water and also lost their properties. The devastation caused by this was all seen in Tsunamis in 2011 at Japan in which millions of people were displaced
A possible solution to this problem is to reducing a pollution we create and build flood barriers. If each person lower their carbon footprint, then the nagitive impact on the environment will reduce this will mean that rising of water levels goes down. Furthermore, a flood defance system such as dikes , dams and floodgates could be build along coastal region and waterways, thereby stopping water from reaching populated areas. The Netherlands is one of the most populated country near the sea and also vulnerable to flood but they have deployed the best flood defense system and prolonged the safety of their citizen
in conclusion, stemming the rising tides caused by increacing global temperature is a challange we face today, and it will ultimately lead to loss landmass and some of the world major cities left underwater however, a possible solution is to build a flood protaction as many countries like holand made it.
