The diagram below illustrates the original design of Grange Park in 1920 when it was published and the changes that has been happened to the area through many years.
Overall, it is notable from the pictures that the area renovated and being more organized, many facilities has been added, including café, children’s play area, water feature and Amphitheatre for concerts. Additionally, another entrance underground in the car park has been built.
To begin with, in 1920 the park has two entrance, the first was Arnold Avenue, which located in the north, and the second was Eldon Street located in the south. While, In the current layout, the area has three entrance by the addition of entrance underground. Moreover, in the center there was fountain, which has been replaced by rose garden and four seats around it.
There was stage for musicians, it was built on and replaced by Amphitheater for concerts. Furthermore, the rose garden, which was located on the lift of Arnold Avenue has been converted to café, also the pond for water plants has been changed to children’s play ground. Another obvious change, the Glasshouse that situated alongside the Eldon street on the right has been replaced by water feature area.
