The bar graph represents the proportion of four types of musical instruments for instance that were learned by children at school from 2005 to 2015 measured in proportion.
It is noticeable that proportion of children playing musical instruments increased over the period except violin which significantly decreased. The guitar had the highest proportion of four types of musical instruments and drums had the lowest proportion in all of the period.
In 2015, the guitar had the highest proportion of four types of musical instruments at 40% over a ten-year period. It started over 10% in 2005. After the five years had increased under 20%. There was a similar trend for piano that had the second higher proportion. In 2015 approximately 40% which started in 2005 over 10% and rose steadily at 20% in 2010. Likewise the same perentage for drumbs remained stable from 2005 to 2010 under one in ten and gradually climbed around 10%.
In contrast, the proportion of violin had decreased throughout the entire period, which started from 10 % in 2005 and fell just under 10% that which became the lowest in 2015 at half of ten percent.
