From an overall perspective, the amount of time spent on Instagram experienced an upward trend, while that for Facebook showed a downward trajectory. Of particular note is Twitter, which rose continually to become the dominant sort of social media app in this category.
Following a marginal rise from about 21 minutes to 25 minutes, the duration of utilization of Twitter climbed gradually, reaching 30 minutes in 2018. From this point onwards, it exceeded all the previous rates and reached a pinnacle of 40 minutes by the conclusion of the period.
