The bar graph gives the information about the percentage of internet users by different age group in Canada who preferred online shopping in year 2014 and 2018.
In year 2014, there were total 20% of internet users who were of 15-25 age group. Age group of 26-35 were the highest among all age group who preferred online shopping there were 32% internet users. Age group of 35-45 were second highest leading group there were around 36% internet users. Percentage of Internet users of 45-55 age group were almost similar to age group of 15-25 there were around 22% of internet users. Age group of 55-65 and 65+ were the least internet users who preferred online shopping they were around 11% and 5% respectively.
In year 2018, for the age group of 15-25 small gain was observed it was increased to 23%. Age group of 26-35 internet users who preferred digital shopping were increased by a small number of 2 or 3%.
Highest gain was observed in the age group of 35-45 the reached to 38% and were the highest age group who made shopping online. Percentage of internet users for the age group 45-55 were increased by 4%. A similar gain of 5% was observed for both the age group 55-65 and 65+.
Overall, percentage of internet users who had made their shopping from online platform was the highest in year 2018 compared to year 2014.
