The pie charts illustrate teenager’s free time activities in the years 2009 and 2019 in a given country.

Overall, the most preferred activity in 2009 was listening to music, and in 2019 it was navigating on the internet. On the other side, walking was the least liked activity over the 10-year period.

The interest of teenagers for free time activities changed drastically. As mentioned earlier in 2009 the favorite activity changed from listening to music to navigating on the internet. Listening to music percentage changed from 24% to 18% decreasing 6%. Additionally, the interest on internet activities increased over the 10-year period being 12% in 2009 and 38% in 2019. This activity had a 26% increase.

With regards to the remaining activities, sports and cooking decreased while watching television increased. Sports interest passed from 21% to 11%, and cooking interest changed from 16% to 18%. Both percentages almost halved. With respect to watching TV, the interest increased by only 3% (19%-22% in the respective years).
