The diagram describes the stages of the manufacturing process for sugar from sugar cane. There are seven simple stages for making sugar.
As an overall assessment, it can clearly be seen that the process starts with gathering sugar canes from farms, which are passed through several stages, and at the end sugar will be produced.
Firstly, sugar canes grow on the farm for 12 to 18 months after the seeding process. Then after, there are two ways for harvesting the sugar canes. The first is done by tractor with minimal human activity, and the second way is that farmers harvest it themselves. In the next stage, sugar canes are crushed with machines, and the juice is stored in the containers. Juice is purified by a limestone filter, where any impurities will be removed. Then, pure juice is converted into syrup by an evaporator. In the following stage, syrup goes for centrifuge, where sugar crystals are separated from syrup. At the final stage, sugar crystals are stored in containers and transported to the market for sell.
