The given pie chart compare infromation about the mode of transportation like by foot , Bus, Train, Car and other used by European people for to and fro from work place to home in 1959 and 2009 in percentage also average distance and duration is also mentioned below the chart.

Overall, in the chart percentage increase in use of car as a tranport over the given period is higher than the increase in other modes while the people used to go for the work by foot decreased to nearly half the value of earlier.Drmatically the value remains same for the train user throughout this tenure.

The Increase in percentage of european residents using car and other commutes from 10% to 35% and 5% to 12% respectively. while slight decrease of 2% is observed in bus users. The users used to walk back is 1959 decreased by 30%. However the train users remain same since half century. Also drasctically increase in average distance and average duration from 3.5 to 19 kilometer and 17 to 42 minutes.
