From an overall perspective, it is evident that there were many changes in the coal mine, such as demolishing many working areas and adding some new tourist facilities.

During the renovation, the office and the staff changing room in the top-left corner of the mine were merged into a museum, while the adjacent entrance underground was still there and was used for visitors. In addition, the waste tip 1 and the waste tip 2 in the left corner were removed to make room for the appearance of a digging driving track and a picnic area, respectively. Meanwhile, the director board located in the center of the coal mine was converted into a coffee store.

In the bottom-left corner of the coal mine, the parking area remained unchanged, whereas the nearby car parking was transformed into a lottery park. Additionally, a new children play site was constructed in the bottom corner.
