The maps illustrate the picture of a side which is used for coal mining and its condition before and after reconstruction.
Overall, coal mining site were redeveloped into visitor’s attraction complex and only car parking with entrance for workers were left unchanged while museum, cafe, souvenir shop, picnic area, play area for children and digger driving zone were built, resulted in disappearance of office staff changing room, medical room, lorry park and 2 waste tips.
Before reconstruction, in the east side of the building two waste tips were located. There was an office and near the office was a Staff changing room and after it the car park was located, while The entrance for workers was from the north, with medical room in the middle and lorry park located on the south.
While parking zone and entrance for workers remained intact, other buildings turned into a museum, cafe, shop, play zone, and picnic area. Where office stood, there is now big Museum. The medical room and lorry park had gone and in its place were cafe and souvenir shop. other alterations included the construction of picnic area, play ground, and zone for digger driving tracks instead of two waste tips.
