The map below illustrates the changes that took place between 1998 and 2008 in a museum floor plan.
Overall, the museum underwent a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which are the expansion of the WC area catering for serving tourists or locals, the development of amenities and the disappearance of green areas.
The top- left corner witnessed a significant change, with an empty land turned into a restaurant and temporary exhibition room was pushed onto the old vacant lot in a decade. In addition, there used to be a temporary exhibition room, but it was then removed to make way for two places related to weather called shops and a coatroom in 2008.
While the ticket’s entrance or exit area was still kept on the bottom of the center, the fountains and cafe sitting area catering for the relaxation of people were added in the garden. Subsequently, the cafe area was rebuilt smaller so that the WC was constructed next to this water shop. Finally, the shop, WC, and coatroom were moved to several left places and the government transformed this area into a permanent exhibition room.
