It is clear to see that South America plays a significant role in manufacturing coffee. Moreover, the proportion of consuming coffee in Europe is the highest, and the major profits go to the wholesalers.
The figure for producing coffee in South America is 46%, which almost occupies a half of whole percentage. By contrast, Oceania only manufactures 1 percent of coffee. In the meantime, Central America, Asia, and Africa remain at the same level.
However, the first rank of coffee consumed in Europe (44%), which doubled US (22%). Besides, 8% of coffee is used by Japan and 26% by others. Additionally, 55% of returns are generated by wholesalers, compared with 25% for retailers and 20% for exporters and producers.
