The table compares the five different aspects of a university in terms of quality according to the results of a survey carried out among freshmen who took courses there in three separate years.
Overall, there were noticeable upward trends in the percent of students who gave good ratings to nearly all the categories with the exception of some aspects. The all-time same figures for Buildings/Teaching facilities can also be an interesting point.
On the whole, all five aspects were evaluated positively by a varied proportion of freshmen: while 84% of them gave good rating to print resources, range of modules offered got positive comments by merely 32% of students. Additionally, there was a margin of 20% between the index of teaching qualities and that of Electronic resources with the former accounting for 65% and the latter 45%. In 2005, however, the shares of university students who were satisfied with teaching quality and range of modules offered dropped by 2%. Meanwhile, there was a sharp growth in the figures for print resources, reaching just-over 70%.
Having been experiencing various trends over the past years, the five aspects of a university had come to the final points by 2010. Both print resources and electronic ones had the same figures (88%) while the opposite was true for teaching quality and range of modules offered which had disproportionate figures accounting for 69% and 27% in turn. Finally, the aspect with the equal share of students in all years was Buildings/teaching facilities with 77%.
