The two maps demonstrate the differences between the suburbs of Fosbury town in 1980 and 2015. Overall, the area was transitioned from an accommodation area to more manufacturing and facilities.
On the west side of the maps, the park was replaced by the terraced houses and relocated to the right of the residential area; there was a blank space previously. In addition, another significant difference is the alteration of tennis courts converted to the sports zone. The communication infrastructure of the town had been developed by 2015, including the car park to the east of the sport center and the road was changed into the roundabout in the center.
Turning to the west of the town, the housings were demolished and the car park and the supermarket were constructed. Furthermore, it is obvious that the block of flats was flattened out similar to the Grocer’s shop. The most striking change is that the green field area became more industrial after being turned into the product storage in the southwest corner during 35 years.
