Dear Jenjen,
I trust that you are in good health. I am writing to inform you about my plan to visit Manila, and I am hoping that you can provide some assistance during this short visit.
I have been assigned to work on a research subject in the city, and I will be spending one week, starting from mid-day of April 30 to early morning of May 7. I would like to ask if I can stay at your house during this period. My manager informed me a few days ago, so I would like to apologize for the short notice.
Since this is a very short visit, I believe it is safer to stay with someone I personally know than renting a hotel. I do not mind sleeping in the living room or sharing any space you can provide. In addition, I can compromise my daily routine and help with the housework whenever I’m free.
I understand that you may have other commitments and it may be difficult to decide about this. However, if you agree to my request, I am willing to pay for the entire duration of my stay and share the utility expenses.
I would greatly appreciate your positive response to my proposal, and I am thrilled to be seeing you soon.
Warm regards,
Cheery
