Band 8+: You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Last week you were on a flight to London. Unfortunately, when you got off the plane, you left a bag there. You did not remember about the bag until you got to your hotel. Write a letter to the airline. In your letter explain what has happened describe the bag and its contents say what you would like them to do about this problem You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I was on a flight to London last week and I forgot my bag on the plane. I only realized that I forgot it once I reached the hotel. I was in a rush because I had a meeting scheduled just an hour after I arrived in London, so when I reached the airport, I was in a hurry to get to my destination, which is why I forgot it.

The bag only contained my laptop and some spare clothes for the stay. I am not in a hurry to get the bag as I have a copy of the meeting data on my phone. So, if I can send you the address of the hotel I am staying at and have the bag delivered there, that would be great. If that is not possible, then there is no problem; I will go back to the airport to claim it myself just after the meeting ends.
