Band 5+: 1. Some people think that there should be some strict controls about noise. Others think that they could just make as much noise as they want. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

While one school of thought holds that noise should be strictly limited, many people maintain that it should be free to create noise. This essay attempts to shed light on both perspectives before concluding that I am in favor of the former notion.

On the one hand, it is understandable why generating noise freely has some benefits. Firstly, making loud sounds allows individuals to feel comfortable. This is perfectly exemplified in case of those suffering from depression or under stress, and they tend to shout really loudly to release their nervousness, which could help them eventually calm down and get balanced in be able to balance their feelings. Secondly, it is impractical incapable of controlling to control intrusive noise. This could be explained that it is inseparable from citizens’ daily life, such as traffic noise on the streets, or engine noise in factories; thus there is no feasible plan reason to keep control it at an acceptable level.

On the other hand there are a host of compelling reasons as to why I am convinced that noise production pollution should be kept under certain bounderies reduced. One rationale is that this issue could have negative effects on human health. Specifically, This could be explained by the fact that hearing continuous noise from vehicles, machines, or construction sites makes it difficult for people to fall asleep or have a deep and uninterrupted sleep, which causes sleep disorders, leading to a bad mental and physical health. Another justification is that working efficiency might seriously decrease due to excessive sound. This is because when working in an intrusive sound noisy environment, employees are more likely to make mistakes at their tasks, such as inputting wrong data, or becoming distracted at workplaces showing their less concentration, thereby affecting the quality and progress speed of task achievement completion.

In conclusion, while it is irrefutable that making intensive noise presents some advantages, I would contend that this phenomenon noise pollution should be limited.
