Band 4+: As the world becomes technologically advanced, computers are replacing more and more jobs. Describe some job positions that may be lost because of computers, and discuss at least one problem that may result.

Technology has become part and parcel of human society. It become advance in every field globally. Humans are replacing by the computer. This essay will discuss some employment positions that may disappear due to computers and also talk about the problems that may occur along with conclusion.

The first is of driver. As it can be seen technology and computers are used in almost every work. Many automobile companies such as TATA, Mahindra and Tesla etc. are giving feature of auto driving in their car by which an individual has to only tell the location and car automatically locomote the passengers to the given destination, In the fourth coming year this technology can be seen in the every four wheeler which may result in lost of drivers job. Another position is of harvesters who live and earn by cutting the crops. They take about one week for harvesting of about one hectare of land. Their jobs may be lost because many companies such as New Holland and Kartar etc. are providing machinery who can harvest the crop within minutes even it immediately do threshing of the crop jiffy. ISGEC and Adwin the maximum amount of work is performed by the machinery. 10 to 15 years ago for work if 200 workers needed but now there is only 5 to 10 persons for the same work with the help of technology and computer.

On the other hand, there is some issue which can be arise from this phenomenon as the dependence on technology is increasing day by which vanishing the availability of jobs. When an individual having specific skill and knowledge but do not getting the job may result in the depression and stress. After long time without the job the person become parasite on the family.

To conclude, after analysing drivers, crop harvesters and factory workers are some work position that may affect due to the computers and technology. And person can feel depression and stress if not getting job even having knowledge and skills.
