Leveraging my computer science major, I made impactful contributions to the semiconductor industry by deploying four successful applications in a year. Eager to understand how product-based companies formulate strategies, I secured a role as a product engineer in a different semiconductor company, venturing into unfamiliar territory. Adapting to specialized knowledge, including semiconductor physics, and mastering industry-specific tools posed challenges, underscoring the importance of continuous learning. Through my commitment to learning, mentorship, and hands-on projects, I delivered significant value. This was evident when my manager entrusted me with new tasks beyond my initial expertise.
As a Kashmiri migrant, closely attuned to the challenges faced by my cousins in education due to public policies in Kashmir, driven by security concerns, sporadically disrupt youth aspirations. Recognizing this digital divide and eagerness to optimise such policies, I attempted UPSC examinations. Although I didn’t succeed but it exposed me to a diverse range of knowledge, spanning international economics, politics, and philosophies, fostering a comprehensive grasp of policy formulation. This phase of self-discovery broadened my perspective, facilitating the integration of various disciplines and the refinement of analytical skills. It helped me to associate the knows and hows involved in organisation strategy, enabling me to appreciate diverse viewpoints and conduct impactful analyses. This inclination has naturally guided me towards product strategy and execution, where the convergence of multiple domains is paramount involving market dynamics and formulating strategic plans.
Reflecting on these experiences, I have come to value both my failures and successes, as they have collectively shaped my aspirations and approach to life.. My past experiences have been invaluable in shaping my outlook and guiding my future endeavors.
