In today’s modern society, thanks to better education, some younger entrepreneurs have improved in some particular skills to lead a company. Some people argue that it is better to replace older directors and managers with younger ones. From my perspective, I totally disagree with this statement.
The first reason why I disagree is that the experiences that older leaders hone after a long working time. This knowledge will contribute to the company to which they belong. Hence, they can improve these workers, upgrade products’ quality, and boost productivity in their company. It is hard and takes a long time to receive these acquirements because we achieve in the marketplace or some other factory or organizations, which is not visible and just learned by other company’ management. For example, when faced with staff problems, the older entrepreneurs hone their problem-solving skills convey skills and handle the situation quickly, while the younger ones take time to think and solve problems.
Another reason is that senior managers have relationships with other companies which is necessary for business. They create, maintain, and keep good connections with supply companies, shipping companies, and media companies. On the other hand, younger leaders can not create relationships with other businesses in a short time because this relies on the beliefs, and thinking between the two organisations. Therefore, a business which has older managers can connect to varied companies and whenever being helped, they can call an assistant for support.
In brief, the older entrepreneurs are not being changed by these younger ones because of their experiences and connections to other companies, which can benefit the company they belong to.
