Band 6: Establishing good relationships in the workplace is not important, as the primary goal of every person is to focus on work. To what extent do you agree with this statement? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Some stated that building a good relation in the working environment is not essential as the main purpose of each individuals are focusing on their work. I strongly contend this statement and 2 reasons regarding this issue will be presented in the following paragraphs.

Harmonious relationship between co-workers is crucial since cooperation between individuals is the core of execellent team work. A great partnership will create a healthy working environment that is not only beneficial for the corporation, but also advantagous for the individuals. Getting a project done in a team, for example, would make the assignment easier and finish faster than working individually.

Additionally, an office is part of social setting where socialization take place. Therefore, each workers must be in good terms with others by building good relationship rather than focusing solely on their jobdesk. Consequently, strong relationships between co-workers will boost communication skills to be more effective and efficient. Teachers, for instance, must report the exam result of the students to the academic leader through upgraded communication skills which will be reached only by retaining a strong cooperation between leader and employer.

To conclude, cooperation between laborers are vital in the workplace, as it is the main principal of excellent teamwork. Furthermore, good partnership will boost communication skills as each individuals will be engaged simultaneously with their leader and co-workers. With all the mentioned points, i strongly contradict the motion which stated that building strong relationship with employers are not important.
