On the one hand, there are many compelling reasons why walking becomes less appearance in daily life. First, along with the advanced technology, employees now can work at home through their devices, so it is not necessary for them to get warm-up bond activities, such as walking to the HR room, jumping in the staircases or roaming in the canteen to the canteen for lunch. They just sit all time beyond the electric screens, resulting in decreasing walking steps in a day. Second, the efficiency and convenience of transports makes citizens rely on them and resist going on foot for just a short time. For example, if a teacher has to arrive to school, which is just 500 meters distances from house, she tend to catch a bus rather than walking to there.
On the other hand, despite the severity of this development, the government can alleviate it by many ways. Specifically, it is crucial to raise employees awareness of walking importance by enacting many flexible regulations. For example, should the manager publish many benefits of walking to their employees, and allow them working at home for 3 days a week, it will witness a growth in number of people going jogging everyday. In addition, many bux, taxi companies should modify their systems to encourage people moving on foot more and more. In Vietnam, for instance, many technology transport like Grab, Vinfast does not ride those who move to another location with the distances under 500 meters.
In conclusion, due to the technological advancements in workplace and transporting, people now resist strolling as a basic routine. And we should adopt susbtanial laws in daily life to foster them spending more time on this healthy activitiy.
