Nowadays, the number of individuals going to museums has decreased. This essay will explore the reasons why and the solutions to make visiting museums more attractive.

In this modern society, there are many alternative entertainments, such as computer games and mobile phones, resulting in a drop in people’s interests in galleries. In other words, people would rather spend their time with other options than enjoying in museums. Furthermore, with the advanced internet, now we can make a virtual tour of museums, enabling us to appreciate various paintings or sculptures, that were only be seen at the site, online. As a result, individuals may lose their curiosity and necessity to visit museums.

However, I believe there are several solutions to tackle this issue. Firstly, museums can make a special exhibitions that require only physical visits. For example, there was an extraordinary event in Seoul last year, which people can enjoy the paintings with their hands, making the experience more exciting and personal. Consequently, it attracted a substantial number of people. Moreover, taking children to museums can be another way as well. Being exposed to various types of art may raise the potential for them to be interested in art later on. Through this positive cycle, we can foster life-long visits to museums, crossing generations.

In conclusion, the reasons why less people visit museums are attributed to the fact that there are numerous other entertainment options and virtual visiting. Nevertheless, there are several measures to lower this issue by hosting special events in museums and , encouraging people to visit them.
