On the other hand, older people play an essential role in providing assistance for young generations in family and society. In the world’s day, young people often full-time working and they tend to rely on older people in childcare, which is proven to relieves financial burden on couples. In fact, in Vietnam, the lager grandparents who are in charge of caring for their grandchildren, their parent often hectic during working hours. In society, older people have life experiences from one generation to the next, like valuable lesson, which really essential to support young people solving difficulties and guiding them to the right path in life. Therefore, the number of older people grow can be positive in helping the younger ones lead a peaceful life and ensure general well-being.
However, I think that the higher proportion of older people can bring major drawbacks including burdens on economic aspects and health services. Individuals may say that the elder is not considered productive workforces of society, thus the rising of this group lead to results in a shortage of qualified workers. This may lead to unfortunate consequences such as declining productivity, higher costs, and in the end, cause stagnation in the economy. Additionally, a mount of the elder climb, so stimulate the demand for healthcare. Thus, have to amount of state funds to improve services and facilities in the health sector.
Inconclusion, although there is benefits in providing young people of family and society, but the increase in the number of old people create generates more adverse effects on the economic and health sector. Therefore, I believe that this development is such a negative one.
