Whether people are capable to take control of some natural processes, such as animal extinction, has become a topic of considerable debate. Some people believe that it is not in their powers to stop biological issues. Others argue that despite being inevitable, these problems can be prevented. While both perspectives hold merit, I think that there are some actions can be done by individuals in order to protect the enviroment and reduce the risks of possible natural processes.
First and foremost, people constantly invade animal’s living habitat, causing several deaths or starvation of certain local species. What is more, ubiquitous use of natural resources, such as wood, clay, or water, puts biodiversity in danger as well. For example, there were many forests completely burnt down around the world during the last 10 years. These fires were created by individuals who could not control a situation, therefore, they spread widely across the whole territory. As a result, many animals got traumas and lost homes.
The second reason in favour is that zoos and circuses should be banned as they exploit animals. Furthermore, creatures are captured in small cages and uncapable of moving which results on their well-being and attitude. Finally, people use animals for various purposes and do not provide them with necessary care. For instance, more governments create laws, prohibiting zoos in their countries. This is proved to have positive results and to decline an extinction rate.
In conclusion, I genuinely disagree with a statement that there is no reason for people to prevent natural disasters from happening. Alternatively, many dangers are caused by humans who do not look after their enviroment. Thus, it is ultimately in people’s hands to create a safe space for all creatures.
