At present, individuals are facing a lot of issues to sustain in massive urban areas. The primary problems of large city living are high cost of living and environmental degradation. For this reason, government should encourage more citizens to settle in rural areas.
One major issue of living in big cities is that excessive demand for housing in urban centers. This leads to basic living expenses unaffordable for low income residents. For instance, people existing residential areas in Dhaka city have to pay a large scale of rental fees. As a result, financial problems have a great concern for the residential people. Another serious issue is environmental pollution. Citizens can be stressed and unhealthy due to high level of decreasing rate of surrounding’s elements. To illustrate, air quality is often poor and toxic fumes from vehicles cause many respiratory diseases. Moreover, traffic congestion is responsible for increasing the noise levels around the towns which can leads to a lack of sleep and other health problems.
In my opinion, there are several lacks existing in smaller cities that government does not observe those significant facts why village people are moving on into large towns. However, Government has to mitigate the facts by developing transportation system, medical centers and social communications.
In conclusion, living in large cities becomes a great concern including high living costs and downward of environmental quality. To address these disadvantages government must motivate to live in smaller cities in order to grow up the fundamental opportunities. It is possible when government will implement these basic requirements instead of large towns.
