It is claimed that several environmental issues can be caused by plastic bags which are used enormously by shopping centers and companies. I completely agree with individuals believe that using plastics should be forbidding because plastic waste disposal can produce many pollutions such as air pollution. Additionally, soil erosion can be contributed.
The main environmental side effect related to plastic bag is that toxic emissions are produced. Since enormous usage of plastic bag, the amount of waste increase. By doing so, the government prefer to burn all plastic bags to eliminate them. Because of burning them, many emissions such as carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide are emitted. When the amount of toxic emissions increase, great number of people might catch illnesses, especially respiratory illness. For instance, many mega cities like London deal with air pollution and government establish many campaigns to aware individuals of plastic bags pollutions.
Furthermore, many governments prefer to bury wastes because of environmental issues are caused by burning them. Although these cities do not face air pollution, many lads have to convert to landfills. Since erosion of plastic bags has taken a long time, many landfills should not be used for many years by neither planting nor constructing. Additionally, when waste is buried in lands, it can cause soil erosion. In this circumstance, due to growing population, government should provide sufficient food for residents. Therefore, there are inadequate food for all inhabitants.
In conclusion, although using plastic shopping bags are common among people, it can cause several environmental issues. I believe that government should not allow neither shopping center nor residents to use them because of many toxic gases which are produced and lacking enough lands to produce foods.
