It is true that professional athletes earn high salaries and other professions are getting low wedges. I partially disagree with the statement. In this essay, the reason behind partially disagreement will be discussed.
To commence with the first reason of disagreement, professional athletes are not as common as other athletes or other professions, they are categorised as celebrity. Professional athletes are highly dedicated and devoted to their passion of playing. This is not overnight practice but they follow very strict diet and discipline from very early stage of life. Moreover, they are not only selfish for themselves to have only good wadges or best income of industry, but they are international participants which are selected by sports board or sport authority who represent the country and they get medals for country by competing with other contries’ athletes. Indeed, they have the huge responsibility to represent the country. In addition, they set an example for people by spending years in training which is a real struggle of life and it is indeed a kind of taking risk in life to become a popular and professional sport player or athlete because in some cases, sport player or athlete really struggle hard to get selected in international sports game or country’s team. Many players are rejected by authority boards and by facing plenty rejections, still having faith in their hard work, they continue to go ahead and that makes them successful professional athletes.
On the other hand, other professions are not having much struggle, not even work is much difficult, but I must admit that in other professions, if people are doing good, they must be paid high. They must be given credit for their dedication and hard work.
To conclude, I mostly disagree with peoples’ opinion that other professions should be paid high salary, practically it depends on how you struggle and make things possible which are impossible and set example for people.
