Housing structures in cities are changing rapidly. Some cities build taller buildings for housing areas. Others focus on a vast area of land for housing. In my view, homes with a spacious area of land are better solution.
In ancient times, houses were constructed with a wider area of land. There was no trend of providing taller buildings. Homes were also facilitated with all types of needs. When people planned to build a new house, their focus was not on housing heights. They created a single story house but their tendency was on wider area of land. In their vast area of houses, there was must be a small garden where older people sat in their leisure time and breathe in the open air. They were addicted to sitting in the open area. In this way, they felt relaxed and happy there. Wider area of land was also beneficial and mandatory for their children to play.
In recent days, there is a trend of providing taller buildings for housing area. The reason is a lack of residential land. People’s ability to afford is also decreasing. People also want to show off to others with constructing taller buildings. There are some drawbacks to this development, including shortage of oxygen in buildings, less air circulation, and limited area of land for gathering. For instance, today’s older individuals and patients have to go out from home for breathe and experience happiness in the open air. Similarly, children also have to go out for playing.
In conclusion, I believe that houses with the availability of wider area are more beneficial than houses with taller buildings. People cannot see the nature in taller and shorter buildings. Old people and children cannot survive there without joy and happiness.
