Some people argue that online education is good, while others believe that offline education should be prioritised. Both perspectives hold significance, and this essay will discuss them before presenting my own opinion.
On the one hand, supporters of virtual learning highlight that it is the most efficient way to get education. Regardless of making the schedule of going to a location to get knowledge, when you can have the same content on your electronic device. As we are well aware of these days that almost every individual carries a smart phone. Therefore, it is easy to do study on your phone rather than going to a site. Many people in our country still lack the privilege of getting quality education because of their financial resources. But with elearning these days all you have to get is good internet and a smart device. For instance, according to a report published by French Ministry of Education in 2020, revealed a 60% increase in online course registrations then the previous year. Which indicates that public is leaning towards digital learning platforms.
On the other hand, many argue that in-person education is far more beneficial because it evolves an individual suitable for the society. A person who takes schooling is more confident has better communication skills and can have more social norms. Conventional mode of education makes people more disciplinary. For example, countries like Singapore and South Korea make it compulsory for public to graduate by physically attending the university. Because they believe that only on campus education is the way of developing more bright minds.
In my view, both areas have their pros and cons, but technology-assisted education is far more favourable than traditional education. Because offline education is outdated people do not have that amount of time and resources these days. Whereas, Online education is far more cost efficient and easy to avail.
