Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In the modern era, reading books has become a common issue discussed by people around the world. Some individuals believe that digital books offer many advantages, whereas others argue that printed books still play important role and it also has several disadvantages. This essay will examine both views before presenting my own opinion.

To begin with, it is difficult to determine whether digital books are completely beneficial for human beings. Therefore, it is necessary to consider this issue from different perspectives. A large number of people argue that digital books play an important role in modern society, as it strongly influences social, moral, and educational aspects of life. In addition, supporters believe that digital books have brought significant positive changes to the contemporary world. For instance, a report published by ‘The Daily Star News’ in 2020 indicates that over 80% of people are able to improve their quality of life because of reading and writing in digital books. Thus it is clear that digital books are necessary in this digital era as all writing and reading can be stored electronically.

On the other hand, it can be argued that printed books have some certain drawbacks. Some people believe that it causes harmful effects on environment and contributes to various global problems. These negative impacts can affect not only the ecosystem but also individuals’ daily lives. One major concern is that these problems are often difficult to solve and may require long-term solutions.

To conclude, it is clear that digital and printed books have both advantages and disadvantages. However, I strongly believe that digital books are more necessary then printed books and its benefits outweigh the drawbacks at the present time. In the future, it is essential to adopt a balanced approach that allows people to gain the maximum benefits from digital books while reducing its negative effects.
