While some people are keen on eating outdoors, others love to cook at home. This essay will discuss why this is the case and the reasons I prefer homemade meals.
People who often eat at outdoor places such as café, restaurants, or coffee bars consider these places time-saving as they can quickly eat the served meal and continue their work. For example, people who work long-time shifts, need to consume something quickly during their break and return to their positions promptly. Additionally, eating out allows person to avoid the hassle of preparing and cooking food, which particularly allows people with demanding schedules.
However, the other group, including me, relies more on homemade food. This is because, in many cases, the most crucial part of preparing a meal is the quality of the products, which is more guaranteed at home, and there is less risk of food poisoning, unlike in takeaway meals. Furthermore, the cook is able to see the exactly ingredients and know where they come from. For instance, mothers with children often prepare for them a lunch with vegetables to increase their immune system relying on the safety of products. Cooking meals at home also provides an opportunity to measure the size and portion.
In conclusion, although some individuals believe eating meals outdoors is more effective due to it saves time, others, like me, consider that homemade food is far more trustworthy and safer because there are less contaminated and come from known sources. Moreover, cooking at home offers more control over nutrition and promotes healthier eating habits.
