People across the world have diverse perspectives on various issues. Some People believe that, government should spent money to save the languages that very few speak, while others think it is a waste of money. Although both sides have different opinions, from my perspective, the first group has strong reasons.
On the other hand, many people argue that spending public money to save dying languages is unnecessary. Their main point is that countries already have many serious problems like poverty, unemployment, health issue and education. They believe that, government should focus on solving this first. For example, in poor countries people cannot afford good healthcare and quality education. In such cases using money to save language that only few people speak does not seem like a smart idea. Some people think that, language death is a natural process because people prefer to speak modern to global languages like English.
On the other hand, some people believe that every language is play a crucial role in human culture and identity. When a language disappear, its traditions, stories, culture and knowledge also vanish forever. For instance, some ancient languages have valuable information about plants, medicine and history that modern science still uses. Moreover, small language helps to keep our cultural diversity alive and make people proud of their heritage.
In conclusion, although some people believe that saving dying language is a waste of money, I believe it is very important to protect them to save our culture , history and knowledge.
