Nowadays many people argue for what kind of purpose taxpayers money should officials invest in. While, most of them believe that it should be healthcare, other believe investing money in another public expenditure will give more advantages. I think that, people’s health very imperative, but there are several better ways useful budget allocation.
First and foremost, supporters of prioritizing healthcare argue that a nation’s wealth is directly linked to the health of its citizens. It is often claimed that a health population is the backbone of a thriving economy. When government allocates significant taxpayer’s money to medical service, it ensures higher labor productive and reduces the frequent of sick leaves, which ultimately boosts the country’s GDP. Furthermore, providing universal health coverage is seen as a normal obligation of the state. By investing in preventive medicine and modern medical facilities, the government can detect life-threatening diseases at early stages. This approach is not only more humane but also more cost-effective in the long run, as it prevents massive expenditures on complex surgeries and emergency care.
On the other hand in developing countries, for example in Switzerland only 15-20 percent of taxpayers found are spend for healthcare. This illustrate the importance of other public expenditure for government and huge share of this money country spent on social security and pensions (35- 45%) this directly toward to ensure a high quality of life for the elderly. Also, officials often give higher priority to education and research. They argue that investing in schools and universities fosters innovation and creates a highly skilled workface, which is primary driver of long -term economic growth.
In conclusion, while investing in healthcare is vital for a productive and health society, I believe that it should not be the government’s only focus. In my opinion, the best approach is to found medical services sufficiently while simultaneously investing in education and infrastructure, as this fields create the foundation for a country’s future development.
