It has profoundly been debated that intelligence is a kind of gifted skills, while many believe that it can be improved by learning. There are valid opinions on both sides of this intensely debated issue and I will deliberate on them now.
Firstly, I understand why many people are in favour of the opinion that people are born with the certain level of intelligence. The foremost point to depict is that it is easier for some people to comprehend something. To be more specific, a group of people can learn anything faster than others, this point confirms that they are more intelligent. Undeniably, some children can learn some essential skills and knowledge such as reading or speaking skills in easy way, whereas numerous parents have a big challenge to teach these kinds of skills to their offspring.
Nonetheless, I advocate those who endorse the argument that people firstly must be passionate to learn something new in order to improve their intelligence. Diligence is a very important thing for everyone, no one can be perfect without hard working. It is not surprising that a plethora of individuals can not improve their intelligence due to their laziness, even though they can learn very fast when they try to do their utmost. To cite an example, there are many theories made by well known personalities according to dilligence, which express that people can overcome all difficulties related to intelligence and learning, while they channel their enthusiasm into learning.
By way of conclusion, considering the aforementioned justifications, even though there are many arguments for the former statement, I am of the notion that intelligence is actually not a gifted skill, while everyone can acquire this knack by hard working and learning.
