Nowadays, scholarship develops at a significant rate, and the education system changes practically every year. For this reason, it is often argued that in schools it is necessary to prioritize practical sciences on par with theoretical ones to improve students’ skills. I absolutely agree with this position. And in this essay I will give my reasons for justifying my point of view.
First of all, knowledge of practical subjects at an early age contributes to the development building of fundamental abilities for further in-depth mastery of the learned material. In other words, when a pupil decides on what activity he wants to base his future profession or is going to enter, for example, a university of economics, it will be easier to study there if he knows the basic things of the financial sphere.
Secondly, I consider that practical classes are useful not only for the integrity of knowledge in a particular area, but they are also valuable for self-development. For instance, a person specializes in car maintenance, however he is interested in medicine. In that case, he immerses himself in this science. Furthermore, such a student may become a versatile personality, who sharpens his acquired skills and uses them in everyday life. In addition, this person will always be able to change his career orientation and try himself in a new activity.
To sum up, I strongly believe that practical skills in school are a momentous decision for the current generation and they will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the future of all students.
