Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, we are living in era of science and computer technologies rapid development and the variety of functions of the latter truly impress. Three decades ago, the idea that computers would replace people would have seemed far-fetched. But as of now, the idea that computing devices will be smarter than human beings soon is put forward. This essay will discuss both positive and negative aspect associated with this topic and provide my opinion hereof.

Becoming computers more intelligent than people is a beneficial trend due to technical and economic reasons. Indeed, a computing vehicle processes any task faster than humans due to special algorithms installed herein. Moreover, using high technologies provides avoidance of human errors and mistakes that improves quality of work. As a result, the less time spend for performing any task, the less expenses are bearded.

On the other hand, it should be noted that if computers become cleverer than people, it could lead to negative social and personal consequences. Decrease of humans involvement will lead to inevitable redundancies and unemployment throughout the countries and in that case, formed workers will be unable to take care of their families and support them financially. Along with this, individuals will lose ability to think, analyze and make right decisions.

By way of conclusion, it should be pointed out that from my point of view notwithstanding the potential advantages of becoming computers more intelligent than people, the negative consequences of this trend greatly outbalance them. It is imperative for societies to weight the benefits and drawbacks and make right decision.
