On the one hand, it is widely believed that the implementation of automated systems has intensified unemployment, as numerous occupations have been replaced by machines. Consequently, thousands of warehouse workers who were responsible for sorting, packing, and transporting goods have been gradually displaced by machines performing these tasks faster and with fewer errors.
On the other hand, it is believed that robots transform the way people work, making it more efficient and precise. I agree with this perspective, as advanced technologies and machines automate mundane tasks, thus allowing employees to focus on more complex and creative aspects of their work. For example, car manufacturers like GM or Tesla use robots for production processes, significantly increasing efficiency and product quality, while enabling engineers to focus on innovation. Moreover, while some jobs have been eliminated, demand for specialists who can work with automation is growing, creating new opportunities and raising education levels.
In conclusion, opinions differ on whether robots are vital for humanity or a threat to its future. I firmly believe that, despite the potential displacement of certain jobs, automation ultimately acts as a driving force for progress, enhances productivity and fosters the creation of new opportunities that propel human advancement.
