In contrast, there was one language that had remained the same even after 10 years, and it was German. Both in 2000 and 2010, 10% of students could also speak German.
Besides those popular languages, Britain also saw its students spoke other languages. In 2000, 15% of students spoke another language and after 10 years that percentage had grown to 20%. Many students were also able to speak multiple languages. 10 percent of British students could speak 2 other languages in 2000, and 15% of them could in 2010.
